The coop's new field
August 20, 2026. We moved the chicken trailer to a new field; you can see it lit up in the evening.

We move it every day so they have fresh grass and forage, and so they leave the manure smell and ammonia behind.
We just had the H2s (first-calf heifers and their calves) on this pasture, so there's fresh manure and hatching flies for the hens to eat.
We've been putting up netting to keep them in; otherwise they wander back to the house to eat the dog food.
Drone photos next year. Still thinking about what to spell in the grass.
